Kim Chiu is one of the entertainment industry’s in demand teen stars since she became Pinoy Big Brother’s very first Teen Big Winner. In just a few years time the simple lass from Cebu has transformed into ABS-CBN Star Magic’s most precious jewel and will be celebrating her coming into womanhood in grand style this April 26 at the Glass Garden. Her debut will also be the main feature of the TV special My Girl Turns 18 which will be aired on May 4, Sunday at 9:30pm. Kim is very excited and at the same time a bit nervous about the upcoming event. Her gowns for her pictorials and party were created by noted fashion designer Francis Libiran and the venue will be filled with lovely flowers from the Lily Flower Boutique. Food for the event will be catered by Hizon’s while Charms and Crystals will provide the debut souvenirs.

Kim will also be seen again on the small screen via the much anticipated Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collections’ Maligno this April 28. She is ecstatic to be able to work alongside her idol, lauded actress Claudine Barretto. Kim’s also pegged to play the role of Jasmine in ABS-CBN’s local version of hit Korean Drama My Girl. The young actress was shocked and happy at the same time upon learning of her new project during a press conference. Kim was caught unaware that she could not help but shed a few tears during the occasion. She will be paired with Gerald Anderson in both projects.
